How we keep
the work clean.
Velorium's value depends on members trusting the editorial. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, in the order they tend to come up.
- Independence
Velorium does not accept payment or in-kind benefits to feature, rank, or favourably present any jurisdiction, program, advisor, or service. Indices are computed from public and proprietary data; the methodology is published alongside each index.
- Editorial
Field notes and essays are written by named contributors who declare relevant interests at the foot of each piece. Where a writer holds residency, citizenship, or a financial position in a jurisdiction they cover, this is stated. We do not run sponsored editorial.
- Compass
Compass output is generated by AI models conditioned on Velorium's editorial database and your own context. It is editorial-quality reasoning, not professional advice. Members should treat Compass output as a sophisticated second opinion, not a substitute for qualified counsel.
- Affiliate relationships
Velorium may receive referral fees from named partners (banks, advisors, relocation services, fixers) when members opt in to introductions. These are disclosed at the point of introduction and never affect editorial selection.
- Corrections
If we publish something that turns out to be wrong, we correct the public record. Material corrections are noted at the foot of the piece with the date and what changed. Quiet rewrites are not our practice.
