What I would tell my partner about Singapore
Three things made it click this trip. The first was the silence at 5am in Tiong Bahru. The second was watching the way the airport hands you back to the country in seven minutes. The third was the way the question of 'will it still be here in fifteen years' is not really a question.
What I am wrestling with is whether stability is the thing I actually want, or whether I confused stability with the absence of fear.
